Hi, my name is Jean! I'm creating a GoFundMe campaign on behalf of our friend Rosy Centeno. As you know, Rosy is a glass half-full kind of gal. Even as she was recently rushed to ER for alarming symptoms, only to find out that she is battling Stage 2/Grade 3 Uterine cancer, radiation and potential chemotherapy - her positive attitude remains undeterred. To help combat the spread of the cancer, Rosy underwent a total hysterectomy which is not a surgery for the faint of heart. While she is recovering, she is unable to work. In addition, her hours were not sufficient to qualify for pay/disability. Because she didn't want to burden anyone, she's been selling personal items from her home to float herself. I know that she has an amazing community around her that wants to come around and support her financially in these challenging times. We are starting at $5,000 as a goal, but I hope to surpass and increase that goal as we all know how much it takes to get by in Los Angeles.
