Please help Rose succeed in her childhood ballet dreams

Hello, my name is Rose Estelle Milner and I’m a young inspiring ballet dancer with a deep passion for dance and choreography. I started my journey at the age of 2, taught by Miss Gemma Gent, a former White Lodge student. By the time I was 4, I knew I wanted to follow in her footsteps and dedicate myself to ballet.

Since then, I’ve worked tirelessly, completing all my BBO exams and performing regularly on stage in local productions. In 2020, my hard work paid off when I was offered places at White Lodge (The Royal Ballet School), Elmhurst Ballet School, and Tring Park, supported by the Music and Dance Scheme.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic—including remote schooling and Zoom ballet classes—I successfully completed my first year at White Lodge and was thrilled to pass my Year 9 assessment. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to meet inspiring figures like Queen Camilla and Darcey Bussell and to perform in Wayne McGregor’s The Dante Project, which sparked my passion for choreography. I’ve also been a finalist in the school’s Young Choreographic Programme for the last three years, with 2 of my choreography's being performed at, Holland Park, and The Royal Opera Houses, Linbury Theatre.

Now, I’m excited to take the next big step in my dance journey. In the last year, my parents have given all that they have, taking me around Europe, auditioning for various ballet schools. I was also offered an audition at The Canada National Ballet school, for a month, however due to financial reasons, i was not able to attend. After receiving 5 different upper school offers, which i am beyond grateful for, i have accepted a place at Palucca University of Dance in Dresden, Germany—a renowned international school where i can grow artistically and gain valuable cultural and professional experience, working alongside The Semperoper Opera Ballet.

However, to make this dream a reality, i need your help.

While i am ready to give this everything i have, i am seeking support to cover the essential costs involved in relocating and studying abroad, including:

* Flights to and from Dresden

* Accommodation and boarding expenses

* Food and daily living costs

* Health insurance

* Student visa application

* Pointe shoes and dance supplies

* A-Level academic studies (continued alongside my training)

* A school laptop
