QHi my name is Irene Merritt, Ronna (Silva) Casey’s mom, and Nanci Anderson Ronna’s close friend. We are setting up a go fund me account to help Ronna because of the overwhelming situation she’s in. The devastating news she was first informed of is her left femur was broken below her hip requiring two rods to secure her leg, but the crushing news we received she was in stage 4 cancer. She was in Willits hospital to repair her leg then she was transferred to Ukiah hospital to have surgery on her lungs to help drain the fluid on her lung. Ronna’s Oncologist informed her at that time that she was going on a experimental cancer drug since then Ronna’s oncologist believes that the drug will work well for her type of cancer. On August 30th Ronna will start radiation Therphy for her cancer. Ronna has intense swelling in her legs and feet from her cancer. Radiation will require her to go to Ukiah everyday which is almost impossible with the swelling. Which means she’ll need to stay because the everyday trips are to much. We are doing everything we can financially and any help Ronna can get would be great fully appreciated. Hope everyone staying safe with the COVID situation. We appreciate all the prayers and Love.
