Please help Rocket's emergency veterinary care

Donation protected
Our beloved 6-year-old lilac Burmese Rocket has been in intensive care at the Veterinary Specialist Services in Carrara Qld for nearly a week. We admitted him last week with a temperature of 41.5.
He wouldn't eat and was extremely lethargic. Rocket had an abdominal ultrasound and an x-ray; however, the results were inconclusive. We were advised by the specialist Dr Elizabeth that Rocket will need an exploratory laparotomy. He had surgery on Monday 13th of June - Dr Gordon took multiple biopsies of the liver, pancreas and gall bladder to determine what was causing the pain and inflammation. Rocket is now home with us. We are giving him 0.3mg/ml of Buprenorphine every 8 hours for the pain, causing a high level of sedation. He ate a small amount of wet food this morning which was a relief.
It has been heartbreaking to see him like this; he is the sweetest little boy.
We hope to get a diagnosis by the end of this week with the best possible ongoing treatment
and medication. So far, the vet bill has exceeded $10k. Unfortunately, we don't have pet insurance, and we weren't applicable for financial assistance as we are self-employed.
We would appreciate any contribution to Rocket's vet bill, recovery and future care, and we will update Rocket's condition when we can. Rocket has a big brother Frankie who just wants his best buddy back.
