Please Help Robert Lonoff's Medical Bills

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Ariel and I am fundraising for my dad's medical bills. My dad, Robert Lonoff, was diagnosed with a rare chordoma cancer on his spine that required immediate attention in Fall 2017. He has undergone radiation and surgery that required cracking his jaw open to reach the location of the cancer. Over the years, dad has experienced challenging and expensive complications such as MRSA, pneumonia, tracheostomy, a feeding tube put in place, falls that have broken the rods in his spine, and infections that have required more invasive operations. But, he has always been able to overcome against all odds and has been an amazing Dad.
Before Surgery:
Before his cancer diagnosis, Dad worked 15 years as a salesman at both Culligan and Leafguard. He always managed to put a smile on everybody's face by cracking jokes and showing us his dance moves whether it be volunteer officiating swim meets or bumping into someone at the supermarket. His passions were (and still are) cooking delicious meals for his family, spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, watching us compete in sports, and always making sure the lawn and driveway are taken care of at all seasons.  Many of you may also know him from officiating swim meets and volunteering with the 4-H Chinese Cultural Club when we were younger. Even with multiple rods in his back, a feeding tube, and limited mobility Dad continued his passion of cooking yummy meals by ordering ingredients from all over online and holding down the fort at home. Dad is the most generous man and always treated every person he met with kindness and respect.
Currently:
Most recently in December 2021, dad had a spinal cord operation to improve his rapidly deteriorating mobility at Northwell Northshore Hospital in Long Island. Unfortunately, the surgery did not go as planned and dad has been on a ventilator since. Dad has little to no mobility in all four of his extremities at the moment and has been communicating with a speaking valve. He was recently transferred to Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital in Bethlehem, PA to begin ventilator weaning (getting off the vent) and the extensive physical therapy and occupational therapy needed to recover after spinal cord surgery. Everyone who knows him knows that he is incredibly selfless and has so much love for his family which is why he has been fighting so hard for so long.
I am fundraising to help take some of the financial stress of Dad's bills off my mom, Bonnie. I want her to be able to focus on being there for my dad and being able to continue to get my dad exceptional care. She has been the sole financial provider for three kids for 5 years now and has done an incredible job trying to juggle working one job full-time and another part-time, being a great mom, and coordinating my dad's care with doctors despite English being her second language.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!
