Help Give Black Hole Rob The Farewell He Deserves

Rob Rivera, Co-founder & President of The Black Hole contracted Covid-19 and entered the hospital on August 20. On August 21 he was moved to the ICU and was put on a ventilator a short time later.  Rob is a fighter and gave it his all to beat this illness, but unfortunately, was called up to Heaven on September 20, 2021 at 12:10pm. Any donation is greatly appreciated so that his family can give him the farewell he deserves as well as be able to afford any unexpected expenses that come up. 

Twenty six years ago Rob co-founded the The Black Hole and built his dream based on the love he had for the Oakland Raiders. Over the years, he has expanded the Black Hole with chapters across the country and worldwide. He met a lot of wonderful people and made amazing friendships and connections to last a lifetime. He put everything he had into the Black Hole and always brought the "aloha spirit" to each of his events, tailgates, and games. He did everything he could for everyone but today, his family needs help.

Rob Rivera prided himself in being a family man and there was no one that meant more to him than his own family. Twenty one years ago he married the love of his life, Rachel, and became a father to her son and their 2 daughters. Rob was also blessed to have 1 granddaughter, Eliza and a new grandson Jonathan Jr. who he couldn't wait to meet. He was just settling in to a new phase of his life when Covid hit their family. Rachel, his 2 daughter's and his mother also contracted Covid-19 and thankfully his wife and children recovered. Unfortunately his mother passed away on September 12 and they are in the process of making her arrangements as well. Rachel was not expecting to be in this position and is not financially prepared to bury Rob. She is trying desperately to figure out her finances since she only started going back to work a week ago to give Rob the funeral he deserves and to pay for any unseen medical expenses and support that her and her children may need.

Rob and Rachel are a prideful couple, however, for the first time any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. If you are not able to give, please take some time out of your day and say a prayer for Rob and his family. They are faithful, humble people and believe in the power of prayer, just like Rob taught them to be.
