We gather today to extend our support to our valued colleague, Ritesh Mishra, who is facing an incredibly challenging time due to breaking his elbow after being hit by a car. So we, his team members in A&W set up this donation.

Ritesh Mishra is a newcomer to Canada, arriving in February. In March, as Ritesh was returning home after completing a dedicated shift, he was struck by a car from behind, resulting in a severe fracture to his elbow. Following a complex operation, his doctor has advised him to rest for a minimum of one month and get physiotherapy as his body undergoes the necessary healing process.

Considering the additional obstacles faced by Ritesh as a newcomer to Canada, the financial implications of this accident and his inability to work have placed an even greater burden on his shoulders.

Our collective effort goes beyond monetary assistance; it is a gesture of solidarity and compassion. We want Ritesh to know that despite being far from his home country, he has found a family within the A&W community who genuinely cares about his well-being. Let us come together and extend our support in any way possible, showing Ritesh that he is not alone.
