Hello all, my name is Barbara Silva and I am reaching out to share a heartfelt cause that is very close to me regarding my two very good friends. Al and Ada who suffered through a very devastating, fast moving house fire on the evening of Sunday, October 25th at their retirement home in the Crestwood Village 6, Whiting, NJ. They were sound asleep in bed when suddenly they were awakened by pounding on their window from a neighbor and the smoke alarm going off. They had no time to do anything but run out of the front door, as their home was ablaze. All of their possessions were destroyed; they only had their pajamas that were on their back. Sadly, their two beautiful loving cats perished in the blaze from smoke inhalation. They are presently in a motel and their home will take well over a year or so to rebuild, thus them needing to find a house to settle into until they can get back to normal. Needless to say they are devastated and in shock that this happened to them. Right now, they really need help just to get basic necessities as they have lost all of their possessions.
