Hello my name is Debbie I am fund raising for the little dachshund i just rescued. I got her last Thursday afternoon and she rapidly gone down hill with her health as she is in so much pain with her spine. At first she was walking normal then within a day refused to go for walks. I thought she had been unkindly treated previously due to her nervously jumping and bringing her back legs in as I waves for her to bring me her new ball. I had brought her from someone who said she wasn't getting on with their kids and had only had her 2 weeks themselves. However turns out she has something wrong with her spine that's affecting her legs. Lady is her name she is only 2 years 11 months old. We took her to her own vets at vets for pets hartlepool and he give me some pain relief hoping this would do the trick but unfortunately lady has stopped getting up out of bed now as in so much pain. Its breaking my heart to see her suffer. I was told if this didn't work she need mri and a spine specialist which would cost around £6000 and this looks like it's heading this way. I am currently on benefits and working part time but I have nowhere near enough funds to pay for this. Only way I can think off to save this beautiful little soul is to ask for help from anyone who can spare even a £1 let's see if we can save her together please thank you for any help.
