Please Help Replace Sean's Stolen Chariot!
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Rosie and back in February this year something horrible happened to a friend of mine, Sean O'Moore, when his mobility scooter, similar to the one pictured here, was stolen from his driveway in Glenorchy. This dispicable action was likely a nasty thoughtless prank as the scooter was stolen without its battery or ignition key, so would have been useless to anyone.
Unfortunately Sean's insurance does not cover the scooter and he has tried to get it replaced via the NDIS, but that turned out to be a bureaucratic nightmare with no result.
Sean relies on his scooter to get around as he has multiple sclerosis, which makes mobility very difficult - not that you would know it as Sean never complains about this painful and debilitating condition.
Sean is the type of person who will help anyone who needs it, but he is not so good at asking for help himself, so I thought I would ask for him!
A new mobility scooter will cost around $3000 and freight to Tasmania is around $500. so I am hoping we can raise $3,500.
Please donate if you can and please share this to your social media.
THANK YOU!
