Hi, I'm Ruth, Reggie's mum. Reggie was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor on 22/12/25. We are currently waiting on test results to confirm if the tumor is cancerous or not, either way will require specialist treatment / surgery (this has already been advised by our local vet). Our vet bill incurred in 5 days so far is £2428.63 (which we have paid). I don't know what the costs are going to be for Reggie's treatment as yet (I will update as we find out ourselves) but will run into thousands of pounds, which after what we have already paid, we just don't have. Reggie is not just a pet, he is a fur baby and very much loved family member. He is a little legend with his funny character, who entertained people during lock down with videos of his antics. He is accustomed to sleeping in a king size bed, with feather duvet, which he graciously shares with his human mum, dad and fur sister (Peggy). He is also partial to singing along with Pavarotti. I can not comprehend not giving him the best chances of treatment due to costs. I am normally the person helping others in any way I can and find it very hard having to ask for help, but I need help, to help Reggie. I will be very transparent with details of costs quoted as we find out ourselves and then how any funds raised are paid out. If by a miracle this raises excess amounts needed for Reg, I would donate to another pet in need. Thank you for taking the time to read this ❤️❤️
