Clover Price is absolutely adored by her new family. After 8 years she desperately deserved to find a new forever family... and she found that with the Price Family.

When her previous home handed her over, we were provided with no details about her... her health was a mystery. So immediately we took her to the vets for an 'MOT' who discovered she had Luxating Patella. This meant she walked with stiff legs from time to time and her knees would pop out of place. Because this wasn't disclosed to us by prior owners, it would be considered pre-exisiting and not covered by any insurance we took out for her. We were mortified but I immediately started saving for any future treatment she might need.

Fast forward just 6 months, and we are all in love with our furry family member, and she's my best friend. Having helped me navigate recent health issues of my own, and being a source of emotional support for me.

One day, she seemed particularly stiff and within a few days could barely use her back legs to support her weight and walk. Aside from the luxating patella, the vets say she could also have had damage to her spine/nerves when she was younger. They have put her on anti inflammatories and pain relief, with an MRI and possible invasive operation pending.

Insurance will not cover the treatment needed, and even though I managed to put away £550, 6 months was simply not enough time to save enough.

I am not one to beg. I am not one to ask for hand outs. But as her 'forever family' we simply expected 'forever' to be longer... 6 months together isn't enough.

Clover deserves more time. So I ask, with all the gratitude in my heart, that if you can help in any way... we allow her the chance to experience our love for longer ❤️
