PLEASE help Josiah build a new replica

In the early morning on August 24th, my son Josiah’s dream car was stolen from our driveway in Springfield. This car was a replica Fast & The Furious Eclipse. Josiah had fought many fires the past few summers and worked several jobs to save up for this dream car of his. He had countless hours and a lot of money into this car that he was so dang proud of! He became apart of a car community that was so welcoming to him and he was so happy to be apart of.
The morning his vehicle was stolen, he was in California fighting a fire. The police were called, but we were unable to file an actual police report due to being unable to reach Josiah who was out on a fire, to see where the documents were that showed he actually owned this vehicle. In the meantime the thieves were spotted joyriding his car in Oakridge and began parting it out. It wasn’t until after 10pm that night Josiah came into cell service and learned that his prize procession was stolen. Josiah was in complete disbelief and shock after a long day/night fighting fires. An actual police report was finally filed sometime after 11:30 that night.
At the time Josiah’s car was stolen, he did not have insurance on it as he had been preoccupied fighting fires (huge adult life lesson learned there!). The next several days that passed, there were several reports of the car spotted in Oakridge. Unfortunately police and family members were unable to actually locate the car.
On the morning of September 9th, we received a call that Josiah’s car had been located and was involved in a serious wreck in Junction City. The car at this point is a total loss and had already been gutted from the inside out. It was more added heartbreak for Josiah to get this news as I think he was still holding onto some hope that he would get his car back.
Although there are a large amount of dirt bag people who live in this community, we are so thankful for the wonderful community members who helped spread the word, reached out to us, and helped try and locate Josiah’s car. We are beyond grateful for all of your help ❤️
Josiah is a hardworking, kind, caring humble young man. All who know him know what a wonderful human being he is! He would never ask for help and is always the giving type. However, there has been SO MANY community members who have reached out, requested, and are inquiring about a GoFund me to help support this young man in rebuilding his dream car that he lost. Due to the amount of inquiries, we were persuaded into setting up a GoFund me to help support him in rebuilding his dream car. So here it is if you are inclined to donate❤️
Again, we want to thank all of the community members who helped get the word out about Josiah’s car. Your help has been much appreciated ❤️❤️❤️
