Please help us to rally around our wonderful Debbie Long.
Hey friends and family, we need your help.
Our very good friend, Debbie Long, was recently diagnosed with stage four cervical cancer and is facing the battle of, and for, her life.
Debbie has lived in the Port Townsend area since the early 1980’s, (the picture is of Debbie and her grandchildren) she raised two wonderful children, Cori and Aaron, and cared for so many of our kids as if they were her own. Always caring, loving and compassionate, Debbie’s kindness soothes the very souls of all she meets. Debbie has been a great friend to so many of us. She has always been there to help anyone in need and now it's our turn to help her.
Four years ago, Debbie’s partner of 28 years, Rick, passed from cancer. Debbie has worked hard to rebuild her life, all the while grieving for her love. But she managed, she did it. Now we are at another hard crossroad. Deb is looking at a quite a few months of treatment at best. It's going to be a long process but if anyone can do it, it's Debbie, and all of us holding her up.
We are trying to raise money to help with the mortgage payment and living expenses since she won't be able to work. Any amount of donation would be appreciated so, so very much.
