Please help raise money for a doggy wheelchair for Coco !

Hi my name is Annaliese and this is our wonderful family pet Coco . Coco is a 9yrold German Shepherd and quite suddenly has developed Degenerative Myelopathy . Having had a German Shepherd before i was aware of them going off their back legs however i wasn't aware of the disease Degenerative Myelopathy and how cruel it is. Coco is a healthy dog but the disease causes muscle weakness & partial paralysis making it difficult to walk then results in full paralysis of the back legs. Unfortunately there is no cure .Coco is mid stage so running can be difficult he really wants to chase a ball and run with his sister but his legs just give way, the wheels will enable Coco to run again and take the strain off his legs when walking.

Coco is also suffering from arthritis but is getting treated for this with daily medication & monthly injections. Coco isn't insured so the medication every month has become quite costly hence the fundraising for wheels. Coco is a very special dog he is loved by all members of the family old & young and has even visited my workplace to meet the preschool children i work with. The dog wheels are a last resort and we just want to give him back the quality of life he deserves. I would be so grateful of any donation big or small to help with the cost of the dog wheels , but, just reading this would mean so much just to raise awareness of Degenerative Myelopathy in dogs as its a heartbreaking disease.
