Please help raise funds for Aaron’s medical costs

At 29 Aaron began his battle of a diagnosis of stage 4 bowel cancer, the cancer had spread from his bowel to his liver. He was given a total of a year to live .
Unfortunately it took nearly 4 years for doctors to even consider that it could be cancer. Aaron was told he was too young to have bowel cancer even though he showed multiple signs that it was.
Not longer after, Aaron’s boss let him go, leaving Aaron to try find work while battling cancer, eventually he started to work for his friend a few days a fortnight.

Over the time Aaron has undergone about 6 surgeries in total and endured multiple attempts of different chemo therapy including one trial that made him very unwell.
Aaron tired his best to not let chemo bring him down and lived life to the fullest while he still could.
Aaron and shelli were determined to live a normal life and enjoy their time together, going motorbike riding or planning day trips somewhere.
They quickly adapted to the life of cancer and took everyday in stride.
During treatment Aaron completed his plumbing apprenticeship, which he has dreamed about doing since he was 18.

At the start of Aaron’s journey he was instructed to have a DNA test performed on his cancer, giving the oncologist a clearer understanding of the chemos and treatments that could be beneficial, costing a total of $5000.
In 2020 Aaron was forced to finish up working with his friend due to being unwell from chemo, and his wife shelli had to leave her full time job to care for him.
Shelli then started working for herself at home which has now ended due to palliative care, shelli has taken on the responsibility of acting as Aaron’s nurse daily and administers his Medications.
In Nov 2022 Aaron received a liver treatment costing a total of $8000 to no avail.
In Jan of 2023 Aaron was told the cancer had spread to his brain and he needed emergency surgery, the surgery went well but Aaron still needed radiation which cost a total of $12,000. As you can imagine over 4 years the costs started to pile up and any savings decreased. Scans were booked at a regular 3-6 months costing $500 plus each time.
Aaron has fought this fight with the mentality of “you only live once” as you can always hear him say. He has shown us all that nothing is impossible, and we need to appreciate every day that we have. We now face a time where as a community / family / friends we need to band together to show Aaron that we will support him all the way. Aaron was told on the 8th Aug that his liver is failing and given just days to live, putting Aaron into palliative care.
Aaron chose to live his last days in the comfort of his own home, unfortunately the palliative care team they are zoned for doesn’t cover costs for equipment and medication, which can cost Aaron and shelli about $400 a week, on top of the costs of living adding extra and unnecessary stress on Aaron and shelli.
The palliative care also cannot provide scripts meaning appointments must be had with Aaron’s oncologist costing $140 each time.
Aaron has a total of 14 medications, and takes 11 of the 14 daily, some of them up to 5 times a day.
I am asking with all that I have, to dig deep and help raise funds to ease the financial strain that Aaron and shelli should not have to worry about, you can imagine in this current financial climate, it is not easy times. Any donation big or small will be so immensely appreciated, it all helps. Your small donation could purchase a weeks medication, a weeks medical equipment hire and support for current and foreseeable expenses. Your donations will be going directly to Aaron and his wife shelli to support them and to allow them this time together with as little worry and stress as we can provide.
