Hi, my name is Raf and this is one of the most difficult, pride-swallowing things I have ever had to endeavor, especially knowing how many people in the world are worse off. Since December of 2022 my life has been a steady rain- I took a massive fall and was injured and laid out, then after that the wound on my knee got infected, leading to hospitalization and surgery, and having to use an immobilizer and a woundvac to heal. In the meantime, my partner of almost 3 years broke up with me out of the blue and moved out, taking her name off the lease. In doing so, my heartless property management company decided that I can't afford to keep the apartment on my own, despite being able to pay the rent on-time and in-full every month. Because of this, along with the hospital bills, I have to incur the costs of a move, which are way more expensive than just staying. I am doing the best I can, but in this world it's hard to get ahead if you start poor, so here I am relying on the kindness of strangers. It's starting to feel like flooding, so I could use a buoy if possible.
