Let me introduce Pumpkin, our nursery cat! Pumpkin is a rescue that showed up one day, malnourished and hungry. He is sweet and timid around customers, but admired from afar by everyone who visits. With his striking orange and white fur, green eyes, and pink nose, Pumpkin is truly a handsome cat. Over the past year, he’s slowly learned to trust our staff and loyal customers, allowing us to give him gentle snuggles and shower him with affection. When he’s happy, he erupts into a fit of loud purrs, reminding us all how much love he has to give.
Pumpkin is more than just a store cat—he’s become a cherished member of our team. He’s an indoor/outdoor cat who’s fed twice a day, and he always seeks out his favorite people for a fresh serving of wet food and a little extra attention. Watching him grow more comfortable and confident has been a joy for all of us, and we’re committed to giving him the best life possible.
Early on December 26th, Pumpkin was hit by a vehicle, leaving him with scrapes, cuts, contusions, and a fractured leg. Lin, one of our dedicated employees, rushed him to several vets for treatment. The costs for his care are overwhelming, and now Pumpkin needs invasive surgery to insert a pin in his leg and correct the bone alignment. Each day that passes increases the risk of his bones healing incorrectly. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t afford this on our own.
We’re reaching out to our community for help.
Already, Pumpkin's pre-emptive care has exceeded $2,000 just for X-Rays—his close community at the nursery has already stepped in greatly to help, but your support will go directly toward Pumpkin’s medical care, giving him the chance to heal and return to the loving, playful cat we all adore.
Any contribution, big or small, means the world to us and to Pumpkin. If you would like to make a direct contribution to his veterinary hospital, please DM us for those details. Thank you for helping us give him the second chance he deserves.
