please help pugsley.

My name is Heidi I am Pugsley’s mom he is one of my four-legged fur babies. Last night after dark Pugsley Lucy and myself wanted to get a walk in after the heat of the day was gone. We’re almost done with our walk when both of my dogs were attacked by a German Shepherd. I wasn’t able to get Pugsley away from the dog, I had lucy in my arms and the dog was just going after Pugsley shaking him profusely. pugsley was able to get loose from him but was out of his leash and collar at that time and to get away went running down the road. while he ran down the road I was calling for him but he was not able to hear me and he was hit by a vehicle that did not stop. We rushed him to an emergency vet to find that he has to 3 brokenRibs and a severely broken back leg. I’ve exhausted my funds at the emergency vet they sent us home with pain meds and said that he needs to have surgery done or an amputation of his back leg. Not sure what the cost of either one of those is going to be but I’m sure it’s enough and it’s going to be over what I have. He’s is set to be in surgery on 9/12, they are going to reconstruct his leg. the estimate for it is between $3000-$5000.
