The “c” word (cancer) has no age limit no race preference just a terrifying presence. The presence is at our door and it is our turn to face it head on. It comes with a name squamous cell cancer (internal affecting and devouring the lymph node, tonsils, and throat). Stage III/IV. I know that in every home there may be hardships or situations that I have not endured but I believe paying it forward has a way of coming back to you. My father has always worked so hard to keep things afloat rarely if ever taking time to his self  but with this visit from this illness he will no longer be able to work as hard and as long as he use to.  Driving one hour one way to treatment 5 times a week, no longer able to work, and even doing simple tasks may become too much. These times to come will be hard but Our family and I have promised to stay strong for him. I am asking, no I am begging  as a community to please help put towards his life. Even if you’re back home and live near by to even swing by to cut the grass or carry their groceries in would be greatly appreciated in the up coming months. Anything helps.
