I have created this fundraiser for my FLIGHT STUDENT Jay. He desperately needs help with his Aviation School tuition. Jaylen was born to be a Pilot. It is his CALLING, his PASSION and it is his WHY. His dream of being a Commercial Airline Pilot started as a small child, and to say he is obsessed is an UNDERSTATEMENT!
Jay has been enrolled in Flight School since graduating High School but has been unable to go consistently due to paying very expensive flight school tuition out of pocket.
Unfortunately, Flight Schools do not accept FASFA, Pell Grants or Federal grants. Flight school is VERY expensive. 100k-120k on average, start to finish. If you don't qualify for a 100k from the bank, or Sallie Mae, you have no other option but to pay out of pocket.
- Jay currently has 51 Flight Time hours from going to Flight School on and off, (due to money) which has cost over $15,000 out of pocket cash. He cannot go to school consistently because once the money runs out, he has to stop going to save up more money.
- Every time he has to stop and save money, the instructors always make him repeat lessons because he is unable to go consistently...which ends up wasting money and it has become IMPOSSIBLE to get ahead.
I really don't like asking for help, as I like to things myself, but Flight School is financially out of my reach. He needs financial help in order to continue and move forward, otherwise he has to give up on his LIFELONG dream, and the thought of that is HEARTBREAKING!
FLYING is his PASSION. His knowledge of Aviation and Aircraft is mind-blowing.
If he is not at work, you will find him on his Flight Simulator, Plane Spotting, or studying Aviation for enjoyment.
HIS ENTIRE LIFE REVOLVES AROUND AIRPLANES, FLYING and DREAMING OF One day BEING A COMMERCIAL AIRLINE PILOT.
Jay will return to school as soon as he has a decent amount of money on his school account to get ahead. He does NOT have to wait until he reaches the full amount to return.
Therefore, ANYTHING helps.
I am hoping and praying that this fundraiser reaches people who have a love for education and a heart for a young man who WHOLEHEARTEDLY wants to complete flight school.
I'm Praying this reaches Pilots/Retired Pilots//Aviation Lovers that can relate and know what it feels like to be super passionate about Flying and can't imagine doing anything else.
