Phil is a husband, father of two, carpenter, builder, drummer and one of my closest and dearest friends who is now going through one of those increasingly common battles these days, stage 3 colorectal cancer.

As the journey has only started the signs of the treatment are becoming more and more evident and Phil's working life is slowing and sadly this means the much needed monthly bills have started to get harder to pay.

As colon cancer runs in my family, this hits home even harder and screening as of July 1st is available for people between the age of 45-49 by requesting a testing kit, Phil's biggest message to anyone is "Get Tested" and to raise awareness.
