Please help Peyton get back on her feet, after our fire!

Hello everybody. My name is Stacy and we had a terrible fire at our storage unit last Sunday night on Blairsferry Rd in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at Wendling Quarry. It involved a 9 unit building and our unit was one of the worst damaged. Thankfully, no one was hurt, which is the most important thing, as stuff can be replaced! We are sad, and lots of tears were shed, and are still being shed but it could have been so much worse, so we are still very grateful!

Unfortunately, we are in the process of moving. Many of our personal items were temporarily being stored there, along with our beautiful RV, all of my Halloween decor (and I am crazy about Halloween), my husband's 55 T-Bird he was restoring and much more. The worst part about this devastating fire involves my oldest daughter, Peyton. She crashed her convertible Mustang a couple months ago and she is still fighting her own insurance on coverage for that crash! It's ridiculous! While she is fighting them, which involves the Iowa Insurance Commissioner, her Mustang was also being stored at the Quarry, while we awaited their investigation. In the meantime, it was NOT insured due to her insurance denying the initial crash claim. It was being stored at my house, and we just moved it 2 weeks ago, so we could bring more of our personal items home. I feel terrible that her car was there when this tragedy happened to us. I am asking for any help for HER, as it's tough for a 24 year old living on her own to recover from such a large loss! She is currently riding a bike as her form of transportation. She loved that car, even though it was older, and named it Sasha. I myself am ok, and most of my stuff will hopefully be handled by insurance, but Peyton was not so lucky. I greatly appreciate your generosity in any amount you can donate to her!
