Please Help Peggy Patch Up Her Home
Donation protected
For anyone who knows Peggy Phillips the first words that come to mind when you think of her are generous, caring & kind. Peggy is the first person to offer to make a thoughtful gift for a life milestone, help celebrate a birthday, or offer a word of encouragement when you are down. She is also always first in line for every volunteer opportunity including meals on wheels, making trips up to paradise to help fire victims, writing Christmas cards, volunteering at animal shelters and so many more. She will literally give you the last dollar she has or the craft off of her table if you need it.
Last night, despite her best preventative efforts, a pipe froze & burst in Peggy’s house caving in her ceiling, flooding her home and ruining her crafting machines. That one hurts the most because we all know her love of crafting. She and her dog Paris are safe and staying with family, but she is going to have a long road of clean up ahead of her. We are starting this GoFundMe page to hopefully crowd source some support to help her with deductibles + expenses and make sure this doesn’t set her back. She has been working tirelessly the past few years to pay down her debt (~75% gone!) and even if insurance helps, we know there will be additional expenses that she has to cover along the way. If anyone deserves a break she is at the top of the list.
Thank you so much for visiting this page and considering supporting Peggy. Every dollar helps and if you can’t afford to donate please share this post so we can get as many eyes on it as possible to try to help Peggy through this bump in the road. As she always says, “No one is hurt! Everyone is healthy! I can do this!”, hopefully our well wishes, donations and shares can help lift her up as she starts the clean-up at her home.
