Please help Pearl - required emergency surgery for bleeding

Hi, for those of you who don't know me or are unfamiliar with my recent series of unfortunate pet events, my name is Jasmine & I have a family of four Bengal cats (Mylo - 11, Pearl - 3, Savvy - 3 & Biccy - 3).

Since Easter 2025, I have experienced what can only be described as a string of constant bad luck and vet visits, beyond my control, which prior to yesterday's event has cost me $12,000 AUD.

What began with x1 cats swollen eye (Mylo), lead to a freak accident in which a different cat (Savvy) got her paw stuck in a door, resulting in an unplanned emergency toe amputation the same day as the initial vet consult for Mylo's eye.

Savvy is sassy and clever and following her surgery when left unattended for 30 minutes so I could get some sleep she tore off her bandage, resulting in an additional visit to the vet for wound review & medication to keep her calm so she wouldn't inadvertently harm herself during her recovery.

A sudden issue with all four cats ears causing them distress lead to a quadruple vet consult with ear cytology and treatment x4.

Mylo's swollen eye was unresolved following treatment and x3 visits which lead to referral to an eye specialist, who then determined it was likely a dental problem. This lead to x2 dental surgeries with one return visit due to signs of infection before resolution of the issue.

In between Savvy's surgery and Mylo's surgery, came issues with Biccy.
During a particularly stressful and difficult shift caring for a critically ill patient at work (I'm an Intensive Care Unit Nurse), Biccy ingested a foreign substance. When I returned home from my shift I found her to be agitated and in distress, this required an emergency vet admission and she required supportive therapy to help prevent further damage to her kidneys as blood markers showed she was experiencing Rhabdomyolysis (muscle breakdown).

Biccy returned home and well, however less than 3 weeks later we returned for another emergency vet visit after she had irritated Savvy who had been hiding under a blanket, who then swiped at her resulting in a ruptured blood vessel in her eye. The bleeding was difficult to stop initially but thankfully did not require surgery at this time.

A few weeks following this, Biccy suddenly became unwell, was lethargic, not eating (not even cheese, her favourite food in the entire world!) and was taken to the emergency vet yet again. She was found to have a raging temperature. She was admitted for several days with fever of unknown origin (none of the other cats in my household were unwell & my cats are indoors only so do not have exposure to any outside risk factors). Her temperature was difficult to control and she required diagnostic imaging to rule out a gastrointestinal source of infection/obstruction. Finally, she was determined to have a viral illness, not ingested another foreign object and was able to be safely discharged home without surgical intervention once her temperature stabilized.

That brings us to yesterday. Pearl is part of a breeding program and was believed to have been pregnant up until Thursday last week, experiencing a 'false pregnancy' or was pregnant with a 'jelly baby' which she expelled. She was reviewed with ultrasound on Tuesday was thought to have no foetus remaining or sign of infection and was sent home again. Upon my return home last night Pearl was found to be in distress, yowling, panting, pupils dilated, unsettled surrounded with frank blood. We rushed to the emergency vet clinic again and she was determined to have uterine prolapse with active haemorrhage (bleeding) and required emergency exploratory surgery & spaying to save her life.

I have done everything within my control to ensure my pets receive the care they need and are in good health. I have not asked for any help financially until now, but I'm at a complete loss as to what else to do, as I had not recovered financially following the last emergency vet visit. Pearl's emergency life-saving treatment cost $3500 AUD. My vet clinic does not accept payment plans nor direct payment from pet insurance companies (meaning I have had to cover all costs upfront and await reimbursement from insurance) and I have utilized the remainder of my savings to cover costs but I am short $1200 AUD.

Sorry for the long-winded story, I just wanted to explain that I have done everything possible within my power & that I'm not just looking for an easy-way-out handout. But I need help now. If you're able to donate anything at all, big or small, it would be so very appreciated, every dollar counts.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read or donate. Your support means the world.
