Snub was found hopping on one leg with a devastating injury. We don’t know how he lost his leg, but it was one of the worst injuries I have ever seen. The bone was sticking out, the flesh was black and infected, and the smell from the deteriorating tissue was horrific. I was afraid he wouldn’t survive.
Thankfully, the surgery went well, and Snub is now recovering. He has shown incredible strength and resilience through this ordeal.
Once he fully heals, Snub will spend the rest of his life safely in the aviary, together with other one-legged birds, where he will be cared for.
The cost of the procedure is more than I can manage alone, but it is necessary to give him a chance to recover and live without suffering.
Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward covering his surgery and medical care. If you are unable to donate, sharing this message would also help us reach someone who might be able to help.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
