My name is Rod Paulino, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Jean Pauline "Pau" Ombao. Pau is only 30 years old, a loving wife to her husband, Ardy, and a devoted mother of two young children — an 8-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son.
On March 20th of this year, Pau suffered a brain bleed that changed her life. After months of uncertainty, countless lab tests, CT scans, and an MRI, doctors discovered the true cause: a CAVERNOMA — a fragile cluster of blood vessels in her brain that can leak or bleed at any time.
Since Pau has already suffered one bleed, her doctors explained that the risk of another — potentially more severe, disabling, or even life-threatening — is extremely high. The only solution is urgent surgery to remove the cavernoma and prevent future bleeds.
Pau is a fighter and has shown incredible strength through this ordeal. But as a family living paycheck to paycheck, while also supporting extended relatives, the financial cost of this life-saving surgery is overwhelming. She wants nothing more than to live without the constant fear of another brain bleed and to continue being there for her children and husband.
That’s why I’m asking, heartfully, for your help. No amount is too small — every contribution will bring Pau closer to getting the surgery she desperately needs. If you’re unable to give financially, please consider sharing her story so that we can reach others who may be able to help. Moreover, I ask for your prayers for her health and support for her family.
Together, we can give Pau the chance to recover fully, to raise her two children, and to live the long, healthy life she deserves.
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and prayers.
— Rod Paulino
