Hi everyone, my name is Jamie Tesch. Patty is my sister-in-law, married to my oldest brother Jake. A couple of weeks ago, she started losing feeling in her limbs, was unable to walk, and the numbness continued to grow. After a visit to the ER and several tests, she was admitted, and they began treatment for Guillain-Barré syndrome. She was partially paralyzed, especially on her left side for a while. Treatments started to work, and she's slowly started being able to use her arms/hands. After a several days in the hospital, they transferred her to Madonna Rehab, where she will spend the next weeks regaining strength and mobility. Each healthcare professional has been truly inspirational to her recovery. We know that God is in full control, and we witness that daily as she accomplishes even the smallest goals like, transitioning from the bed to the bathroom, changing clothes, feeding herself, standing and walking with assistance!
