Hi everyone,
I have two bills that are coming up that I won't be able to pay without some outside help.
1. I had a jaw infection which stemmed from two messed up teeth. My insurance, OHP, was able to cover the emergency extraction and root canal but won't pay for the crown. The cost is $1000 to get the crown and avoid further damage and infection. The dental clinic doesn't accept monthly payments and I was denied Care Credit. I have to pay this by March 30, 2022.
2. I was hit with a surprise letter stating I owe $881 to the DoR from parking/speeding tickets from 2012. The biggest issue is that it could have been either myself or my then-boyfriend who got the tickets in my mom's car, however the DoR says they don't have access to photos from that year and the photo company isn't answering or calling me back. This means if it was my former boyfriend, I have no proof. I have to pay this by April 7th, 2022.
I'm in school full time and do not work. The loans I get from school go directly to tuition, rent, and bills, and I do not have enough time to amend my loan agreement to receive the funds to pay for this. There is the option to set up payment plans for the tickets, but I won't have enough to start making payments throughout the spring to summer term in school because this wasn't budgeted into my loan acceptance. If anyone knows of an option to handle the tickets in a different way, please let me know.
I'm sorry, and thank you so much for helping me.
