If you know Darren “Oz” Osmotherly, you’ll know what kind of bloke he is. He’s always the first to lend a hand, help someone out and be there for others when they need him.

Sadly, over the weekend, Oz was involved in a serious boat accident on the hawkesbury river, while practicing for a hydroplane race. The boat impacted a rock wall, leaving Oz with a broken back in two places and a broken knee, among some other injuries aswell.

We are incredibly lucky to still have Oz with us after such a horrific crash. His road to recovery will be long, and for once, it’s Oz who needs a helping hand.

We’re asking friends, family and everyone who knows Oz to come together and help ease the financial pressure while he focuses on healing and getting the care he needs in hospital.
