I'm putting this out for the Duerr family because I know they would never ask themselves. Lyla was recently admitted to Seattle Children's hospital with a very aggressive cellulitis infection on her face. While this is treatable and she will be ok, it is a substantial financial hit for the family. Tanya and Lyla both just came out of having Covid and Tanya has already missed two weeks of work. Now Tanya will need to be home with Lyla to monitor her while she recovers Tanya will be missing more work. Tanya, as most will know is self employed. So that means no vacation or sick time to draw from. With the high cost of living i know we are all feeling right now, coupled with daycare that must be paid for regardless of whether Lyla is there or not, I'm sure we can all surmise how this will impact their family. If you can find it in your heart to help out, even just a little, the Duerr family would be deeply grateful and is surely deserving.
