I was a healthy male in his mid-40s, capable of doing for myself and helping loved ones, family, friends, and my two elderly dogs just a few months ago. But now, today, I can't even take a shower, nor lift over 10 lbs per doctor's orders. I need to put my dogs down for they are elder and blind, and I no longer am capable of ensuring they are living the good life they have always had.

I had to move into my godmother's home, who is blind, so I was able to help out with minor tasks like groceries, appointment rides, and so much more until yesterday when my car broke down and is no longer running. I am not able to do anything. I have been diagnosed with diverticulitis and had to undergo 4 emergency surgeries within 5 weeks starting on Nov. 6, 2025. I have lost 57 lbs, had a feeding tube, and now need to carry a wound vac machine with me everywhere I go.

I am only trying to seek help because I have so many other doctor's appointments to get to, and without a running car or working car, my future seems like there won't be much to live for. I do have a colonoscopy bag and other attachments on the outside of my body, which I am learning to maintain. If anyone can and is willing to help out, please do. I'm in need of any kind of help. This nightmare can last over 6 months in order for me to recover and heal, perhaps even longer according to some doctors. Thank you for taking the time and reading my situation.
