Hi everyone, I’m writing from my heart for a very dear friend of ours Clive, well he’s more like family really, he has worked with my husband for many years but they’ve known each other there whole lives. There brothers, and so unbelievably close.

Clive has had such a difficult year with his health, he has been in and out of hospital, firstly with a bowel blockage, he spent weeks in hospital after loosing 4 stone, he ended in surgery removing 12cm of bowel and needing a colostomy bag.

He recovered quite well from this and started putting on weight, then weeks later he turns yellow and ends up back in hospital where they tell him he has another blockage and will need a stent to open it up to correct this, whilst doing this they done a biopsy just to check everything was ok in there.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago he was told that he had cancer of the liver and unfortunately they couldn’t operate because the cancer was covering both sides of his liver. He was then told the devastating news the cancer is terminal and he has around a year to live.

Clive a very keen banger racer is 48 he has a lovely partner Anna, he is also father of 4, he is the most gentle, kind, caring, person you could ever meet, as you can imagine this is the worst news anyone can be told.

We are all trying to remain as positive as can be.

We’ve started this go fund me to help raise funds to cover any alternative treatment, travelling and to help with any costs because Clive is self employed and now has no income and at a time like this money is the last thing he needs to worry about.

I know money is tight for everybody right now, we fully appreciate any donations no matter the amount, it will all add up and make a difference to Clives life, which at the moment that’s the only thing that we can do to help him
