We never imagined we would ever have to ask for help like this, but our beautiful Teddy is fighting for his life and we are absolutely desperate to give him every chance we possibly can.

Teddy is due to celebrate his 1st birthday this Saturday. He is literally still our little baby, and instead of getting ready to celebrate his first birthday with him, we are desperately hoping and praying that he makes it through this.

Teddy is our gorgeous Cockapoo and he is so much more than a dog to us. He is our baby, our little shadow and such a huge part of our family. He brings so much love, happiness and laughter into our home. ❤️

Over the past few weeks, Teddy has become desperately unwell with a severe and life-threatening blood disorder. Despite everything the vets have tried, his blood levels have continued to fall.

Today we received the devastating news that his PCV has dropped again to just 12%.

His specialist vet has told us that his chances are very slim, but there is still one more thing we can try. Teddy is having another blood transfusion to give him one more chance to respond to treatment. ❤️

We simply cannot give up on him while there is still a chance.

The financial side of this has now become something we never could have imagined either. Teddy’s current hospital bill is already around £7,500, and his additional blood transfusion is expected to cost approximately £2,000. We also have around £1,300 of bills with his own vets.

This means his treatment is currently expected to cost around £10,800.

We have £4,000 of insurance cover, leaving us with a shortfall of approximately £6,800.

We have never wanted to ask people for money, and honestly, setting this up feels incredibly difficult for us. But Teddy is our baby, and if raising this money gives him even the smallest chance of coming home to us, we have to try. ❤️
