Please help our sweet pug, Finny

UPDATE- Our sweet Finny has unfortunately passed away. We made the choice to put him to sleep and allow him to gain his angel wings. We were delivered the news the night of June 6th that his health was rapidly declining and he most likely wouldn't make it to surgery the following day. We went into the VSC and comforted and surrounded him with so much love as he passed. We are so thankful for those 5 and half years we got with the sweetest boy. Finny will be missed beyond measures. We are closing donations now as we will use these existing donations to cover his vet bills and cremation costs. Thank you everyone, it is so appreciated, 

Hi everyone, Matthew and I decided to open a gofundme account for our sweet boy, Finny. Everyone who knows him knows he is the silliest and sweetest boy around and especially how loved he is by us. He is our world, and we seriously cannot live without him. To make a long story short, today, June 6th, we went to the Paradise Animal Hospital regarding his vomiting and becoming lethargic. We came to find out that his Larynx(voice box) is collapsed, and he requires immediate surgery. So he was referred to the VSC in St. John's, and we were quoted approximately $12,000 to perform the surgery he requires to stand the best chance at life. We do have Trupanion insurance but they have denied our pre approval claim. I know the people reading this may think he is just a dog, but to us, he is our whole world, and we would never live knowing we didn't do everything possible to save our sweet boy.
