Please help our son's family.

From David and Angela:

 

In January our son David went to the hospital thinking he had Pneumonia. Instead, after 3 weeks in the hospital and many tests, he was told he had a rare form of cancer in his brain, lungs, kidney and spine.

 

David was determined to fight. His strength failed quickly though and towards the end of February he had no choice but to be admitted once again to the hospital. David was moved to the ICU shortly after and the amazing staff at Kelowna General Hospital did all they could to help him fight the battle of his life.

 

While in the ICU David received his first dose of chemo and immunotherapy in an attempt to slow the cancer. He knew that his body was weak but he wanted to try everything he could. He was intubated to help give him his best chance. After 2 weeks of fighting even on full life support, his body failed him and on March 16th David lost his short but courageous battle with cancer.

 

Our son David had the best of reasons to fight. His love and his life were his wife Maria and their two young children David Jr. and Sarah.

 

Being so young David was not as prepared for this tragic ending as he would have liked to have been. The diagnosis and progression of this ravaging cancer did not enable him to make the arrangements he would have like to have made for his beautiful family.

 

We are asking that you consider helping with even a small contribution to help his Maria, David Jr. and Sarah with the funeral costs and living expenses.
