Please help our second graders get to the zoo!
Donation protected
Our second graders are bright, curious, and inquisitive learners. They have worked so hard this year and grown so much, despite all of the challenges they have faced. This group of amazing students have never experienced a normal year of learning, as they were sent home due to COVID their Kindergarten year and spent much of their first grade year in a virtual school setting. Because of this, they have missed out on so many “normal” parts of learning, including field trips. We are so excited to plan a field trip that puts our science skills to work at the Dallas Zoo! Unfortunately, due to rising admission prices and fuel costs and decreased school funding, field trips have become out of reach to many Title 1 schools such as ours. We are asking for donations to help our second graders go on this field trip — for some of them, it will be their first field trip ever.
Your generous donation will cover costs of admission, transportation, lunch, and the priceless joy and learning that this field trip offers.
Any little bit helps and is greatly appreciated! Thank you for supporting our kiddos!
