Hi, my name is Emily. I have set up this gofundme for my grandparents. They are a couple in their 80s and their 6 year old lasapoo Ralph was just diagnosed with Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Because of this, Ralph has been spending a lot of time at the vet and treatments will be frequent, ongoing and expensive. My grandparents unfortunately do not have the financial means, living only off of the pension. Ralph’s medical bills have already been a huge burden prior to this new diagnosis.

Ralph has had a lot of issues randomly arise in the last few years including being prone to developing life threatening bladder stones. My grandparents have always tried to give him the best treatments despite their struggles with money, as Ralph means everything to them. My granny in particular is the biggest dog person and will do absolutely anything to give her dogs the best life and spoil them rotten, so this current situation has left her quite distraught.

We are doing everything we can as a family to support them and get Ralph the treatment he needs however this sadly won’t cover everything.
