Hi there we are Suki's Mummy & Daddy, we are fundraising for our precious girl.

Our beautiful cat Suki has tested positive for cat flu and is very poorly.

She’s suffering with severe symptoms and requires urgent and ongoing veterinary treatment, medication, and close monitoring to give her the best possible chance of recovery. Seeing her struggle has been absolutely heartbreaking — she’s such a loving, gentle little soul and a huge part of our family.

The costs for emergency vet visits, nasal flush, biopsys, blood tests, medication, x-rays and follow-up care are quickly adding up, and we’re doing everything we can to ensure she gets the care she desperately needs without delay.

Suki hasn't had the best of time with her health when we sadly had to move home in 2021 because I had become disabled and could no longer handle stairs, so we moved to a bungalow, Suki was over grooming we thought this was the stress due to moving but after taking her to the vets we were informed she had ringworm, she had to wear clothes, she was an extremely unhappy cat, we then moved again in late 2022 as sadly the bungalow we were in was subsiding and was no longer safe for us to live in. This move Suki wasn't affected as much as of course we had moved long not before, but after a few months of moving in, we noticed Suki was showing signs of feline asthma, we went back and forth to different vets who were telling us different things, we fought and fought for our precious baby, Suki has been on multiple antibiotics to try and clear the infection she had, on the 15th January 2026 she had a nasal flush as she was sneezing so much and it really was so disheartening to see, the vet then informed us Suki is a cat flu carrier (FHV-1) and has been from birth the move in 2021 probably brought it all on and the skin issues were more than likely signs of cat flu too. The vets started her on steroids, sadly this has weakened her immune system and brought the cat flu back with a vengeance and we are still fighting to get some medication for her that will help her long term.
