Please help our own Xiaohui and her daughter

Hi, my name is Kim - I work in an ICU where everyone is family, and one of ours has experienced a tragedy and needs our help.

Our friend and colleague, Xiaohui, is a single mother to her daughter Crystal, who has special needs and requires constant one-on-one care. Crystal's father adores her and has remained a critically important part of her life. For years, he has been her caregiver on the weekends while Xiaohui works night shift every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to support herself and Crystal.

Tragically, Crystal's father suffered a devastating brain bleed last week - he is currently unresponsive and on a ventilator in ICU, and his prognosis for recovery is uncertain. Xiaohui is now unable to work as she must care for Crystal full-time. This has been a devastating time for both of them, both emotionally and financially. Our ICU team wants to raise funds to help Xiaohui in any way possible, including finding help to provide care for her daughter as well as assisting with future costs in the event that Xiaohui is unable to return to work.
