Please Help Our Mom Judy Krulish Fight ALS

Hello. Thanks for visiting our fundraiser for our mother Judy Krulish. We are her adult children, Stephanie, Vickie, Jackie and Joey, and we are on a mission to help our mom.

Our mother was diagnosed at Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis with ALS at the end of January 2022. We are now on a crusade to do anything we can to help our mother battle ALS while. We want to give her the best care and quality of life possible. ALS is a rapidly progressing neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS progression takes away the ability to walk, write, dress, speak, swallow and eventually breathe. There is no cure for ALS and there are currently only 4 drugs approved for use by the FDA. Due to the debilitating disease, the average out of pocket cost for caring for the individual can average $250,000, depending upon life span.

Our mother is special to us in so many ways. She has invested endless time, energy and love our whole lives, nurturing and caring for us and we now find ourselves in a situation where we want to return the love she has shown us growing up. She was a nurse for 25 years and has taken care of many people from physician's offices to the hospital, including caring for dying oncology patients. She has a doting husband, Bob of 26 years and is a grandmother to 21 grandchildren. We all would like to see her have the best quality of life possible during her fight against ALS!
