Our Momma needs Help

Hi, my name is Princess Graycie Mae Von Fluffy Bottom, and the orangie boy is my brother Aslan. With the help of one of our Momma's old friends, (kittens can't type afterall), we appeal for your assistance.

Our Momma is very sick. She has MS (Multiple Sclerosis, that’s a mouthful for a kitty), and severe anemia resulting from a surgery she had, which have left her unable to work since 2018, and has survived with her meager Disability pension and family. After a series of unfortunate events in Summer 2023 (oral infection, life threatening allergic reaction, breaking her glasses which are extra expensive due to her MS) she spent nearly $14,000, wiping out her savings. She doesn't qualify for most forms of assistance and is on multiple wait lists for housing, but those lists are years long, and the Momma only really has enough money to cover rent. She has done her best to make sure everyone gets paid, but the stress of scrambling to pay everything is making her sicker. In December a thyroid condition popped out of nowhere, and the doctor is very concerned it is cancer. She is unable to do much now without passing out, as her heart is under such severe strain from the anemia and thyroid problems, and the meds she is on to solve that is making her even sicker. To top it off, the phone company threatened, and then cut off her internet, her only means staying connected to people, doctors, family friends. Considering all of this, she made the difficult decision to move to western Canada with family, because she has no family left in her immediate area. Difficult because it means leaving her chosen family, (her friends she has made along her journey who are now family to her), whats left of family, her mentors, and a place she loves. It's also easy in that she is going to be with family she hasn't seen in years, in one of the most spectacular areas of the country, that she's never been to. It will be her, our, grand adventure of a lifetime. The one problem is paying for that. Both my brother and me need our shots, I need my spay surgery, and we need meds for the plane ride. The Momma says we are all that has kept her going these past few years, and she has always made sure we had anything we needed. It has been so hard to watch her go through this.

Here's where you come in. We are asking if you could possibly help her please to do. She is all we have and known since baby's, and we desperately want to see her smile again. Can you please help? She estimates it will take $4500 to move, not including our vet visits. Plus an extra $2000-3000 to get everything settled once arriving in NB. We cannot help her, but maybe some of you can. Just a little is all we ask, as the Momma says that times are hard for everyone, but if you can spare just a little that would be awesome! ❤️
