Update… Kiki is out of surgery and recovering. She seems to be doing well. The little rascals tummy was full of hair ties! I have deep cleaned the entire house and hoping that she won’t get a hold of anymore!
Thank you to everyone who donated!
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. Our 6-month-old kitten, Kiki (Calliope) has suddenly become very sick, and we are fighting to save her life.
A few days ago, she stopped eating, stopped drinking, started throwing up and becoming lethargic. We took her to the vet for tests and they have discovered that she has a foreign object stuck in her stomach and needs emergency surgery to survive.
This kind of surgery would normally cost around $5000 but the vet has offered to do it for a reduced rate..
She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow at 8:30 in the morning and I will be dropping her off.
This isn’t something that can wait. Without surgery, she will have to be put to sleep.
I’m doing everything I can to get her the medical care she needs, but the costs are far more than I can afford on my own even with the reduced surgery fee.
Even $5 makes a difference.
Every share helps.
Anything offered is deeply appreciated.
