Please Help Our Incredible Aunt Korey Fight Cancer – Again

Our hearts are heavy but hopeful as we share this update: our beloved Aunt Korey is facing cancer once more. My sister Kali and I are launching this GoFundMe on her behalf because she needs our support now more than ever – and she's the kind of person who has always put everyone else first.

Korey is the definition of selflessness. She left her dream life in the beautiful foothills of Colorado to move back to Ohio and care for her elderly parents full-time, pouring endless love, strength, and compassion into their lives. She's the one who shows up – no questions asked – for anyone in need.

But life has thrown unimaginable challenges her way. She's already beaten cancer once, endured each of her hips having to be replaced twice (after sepsis complicated her initial replacements), stepped up as a devoted caregiver when her husband suffered a devastating stroke, and grieved the loss of many cherished family members, including her mother, father and brother. Now, cancer has returned with a vengeance, attacking her intestines and metastasizing to her liver, bringing a new wave of treatments, doctor visits, and the exhausting physical and emotional toll that comes with it.

On top of fighting for her health, Korey is facing an overwhelming financial strain: mounting medical bills, costly medications, travel to appointments, and lost income from time away from work. These burdens make an already difficult battle nearly impossible.
