Hi, my name is Jeri. One of my oldest friends, Wren recently hit a very tough spot and I need help bailing her out. Due to circumstances beyond her control, Wren has run into legal problems, lost her housing and contracted Covid (in the same week). The Covid makes her ineligible to go into an emergency shelter, unfortunately. She's in Utah, where it's very cold right now and is currently staying in an inexpensive hotel. She doesn't have enough food, and she has her elderly cat in tow. She has run out of personal resources and desperately needs our help so that she literally doesn't end up on the streets in dead of winter.

I'm trying to raise enough money for the following:

1) temporary housing

2) gas to get her back to California

3) legal help

4) enough to keep her phone turned on

5) food

I've posted my goal as $2000. I'm hoping raise more than that so that she has a safety net, but any amount you can share will help and will be much appreciated.
