Please Help Our Friend & Team Member's Emphysema Treatment

Donation protected
My name is Alexis Marrero, and I am a rock artist from Ohio.

I am with a company, Ablaze Entertainment, that has played a major role in my growth and development over the past few years.

One of our very important team members is extremely ill with stage 4 Emphysema. Emphysema is a terminal illness and a specific condition of COPD. COPD is a chronic lung disease characterized by damaged air sacs (alveoli) in the lungs. This makes it very difficult to breathe. COPD is a broader term encompassing several lung diseases, including emphysema and chronic bronchitis, that cause airflow obstruction and damage to the lungs. Emphysema specifically affects the air sacs, causing them to lose elasticity and become damaged or destroyed. This leads to air trapping and difficulty breathing out. Stage 4 is not a good place to be, and it can lead to the end of life at any time.

We have been told there is a procedure that would help her slow the spread of the Emphysema. This would allow her to breathe more easily and hopefully live longer. The procedure/therapy costs $30,000 and is not covered by insurance. We know that no one has a lot of money these days, but every one of us has $1.

We kindly ask all of our friends and supporters to donate $1. Anything more is always welcome and greatly appreciated, but $1 is all we are asking for. If all of our amazing supporters donate $1, we can raise enough money to help our dear friend and team member with this incredible procedure/therapy.

We thank you all in advance for your support and generosity.
