Please help our family while we tackle this nicu journey

As many of you may know, our babies blessed us with their presence at 27 weeks, which is very early. They have been in the N.I.C.U. since February 1st and still have a bit of time to go.

My fiancé, Slim, stopped working prior to them being born and did so for the safety of our babies. With the circumstances, she hasn't been back to work since. She is now looking for employment, which isn't seeming to be the easiest. Juggling having them in the N.I.C.U., going to see them, and still tending to our children at home makes finding an employer that understands the situation complicated!

I had ankle surgery 2 days prior to the babies being born. We thought me getting my ankle fixed at that time was a great idea, being I'd have time to heal and get back to work before their due date, which was early May. But that's not what happened. I have healed but am still unable to work due to chronic pain. I am going for a follow-up appointment to see what the next steps are.

With all this being said, we've cleared any savings we had just to try and stay on track while out of work and are now at a point where we could lose it all. Bills are piling up and some are past due. It takes a lot to make this GoFundMe because some will look at us as being weak for asking for help, but in reality, sometimes you have to admit that you need the help and ask for it. Even if you can't donate, please share this GoFundMe.
