Please look at updates! Hello! My name is Emily. I am the proud mother of two awesome boys. I have always worked hard and provided for my boys. My passion has always been to work with children. I moved out of my position as a director of a childcare center into a position in corporate. I made the move because it meant more financial stability and I wanted to make a positive change.

I lost my job a few months ago due to government budget cuts. I have been applying to jobs left and right. I have two degrees and it has been very difficult. I finally landed a great job and am just waiting on everything to be finalized. I was driving for Uber in the meantime, making money. I recently just got in a car accident which is preventing me from driving and making money. My shoe got caught on my pedal and I couldn't brake fast enough. Since the accident was my fault, I need to come up with the copay for the rental and the deductible before I can get my car fixed. I am blessed that it wasn't worse but there is some physical damage and internal damage to my vehicle. I have been unable to work for a week now.

I am also going to fall behind on bills. It's hard and embarrassing to ask for help. When I lost my job, we were evicted from our place that we lived in for 6 years because I fell behind and couldn't catch up fast enough. There are not many resources in my county and I have reached out to local churches. Unfortunately, the churches are struggling as well. My church family has been amazing with support.

I am not a lazy person at all and have always worked full time to provide. I am actually a very motivated person that has just fallen on hard times. I am a single mother and know what it's like to fall behind and pull myself out of the situation. This is my last resort before we lose everything. Please find it in your heart to help.
