On August 30th at approximately 10pm our apartment building caught on fire due to our neighbor’s negligence while I was home with my husband and our two daughters—a 3-month-old and a 7-year-old. We are grateful that we all made it out safely, but we suffered  injuries and lost everything we own. Our newborn lost all of her essentials, including her breast pump, diapers, wipes, clothing, and other belongings. Our 7-year-old lost all her clothes, toys, and school supplies. On top of this, we are now facing the financial burden of relocating and starting over from nothing.
