Hi, my name is Chris and I’m trying to raise money for surgery for our puppy Goose. He’s 5 months old, my six-year-old son’s first dog, and the sweetest Chesapeake Bay Retriever you’ve ever seen.

Unfortunately he’s eaten something he shouldn’t, and needs serious intestinal surgery. We don’t have the money to cover this, and I really don’t know what to do. The estimate I was given is up to $6,889, but doesn’t include what we were told is likely at least a 24 hour animal hospital stay. We can barely make ends meet as it is, the vet said to try crowdfunding so I’m here. I lost my first puppy at about the same age (poisoned), and I don’t want the same thing to happen to our sweet Goose, or to my little boy Zac. The X-rays show blockage and damage, he hasn’t eaten or had water since Wednesday. It’s so sad seeing him like this, all weak and no energy. Please help if you can, I need to make a decision tonight and I need help.
